I was curious. I've been to some cities that have a large church influence, and their strict views on things like piety and heretical things can make the entire area feel uncomfortable.

That sounds tough... well, I can't imagine the church having this much power. Though, I've known a situation where a government is so powerful and corrupt, they were able to oppress an entire country and take it in its grasp.
