I suppose this will be a day where you catch many in awkward positions.

I was hoping to do a little more sightseeing than coming across awkward situations, if anything.

I am almost tempted to ask if you actually expected a simple sight seeing trip.

That's true. It looks like it'd be one heck of a climb, though.

Most of the population here is fit enough to complete it. I believe you could also do it.

Even if the volcano itself isn't very active, it still seems like it'd be a little risky to try climbing it.

If you consider it a challenge, I suppose.

I hadn't considered it that way. At least, not right now.

Perhaps you can give it a try in the future, when you are prepared.

That might be a better idea. I didn't plan on trying to scale anything today.
