2 ♔ pranks exist, prove me wrong
[ Hey, see that on the ground? It's two tickets to that thing you love-- no, wait. It is that thing you love. Or that precious thing you thought went missing a month ago. Or something really valuable that you like or want, like money, or if you're a sensible islander, like soap. Let's just say it's something your character may really want.
WHATEVER IT IS, it moves slightly out of reach when you go to grab it.
And again.
And again.
What do you do? ]

It's what makes Umineko so fun!!
I'll be waiting for a splendid, reckless answer. [ Very confident right back at you. ]
Gotta stretch that logic to it's limit!
It's never a reckless answer. That would mean I have no confidence except desperate hope.
((OOC: Read subtitle at 1:20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVE0AyXT48A&feature=related))
Who needs logic when you have WITCHES-- I mean yes of course.
Fine, then a seamless answer that would pierce right through my heart if it were said in blue.
[ ooc; ... HAHAHAHA yes. Delicious, ironic awesome. ]
That makes me think LOGIC WITCHES! Which sounds like a band name, honesstly.
Heh, then it's probably the best I can't use the Blue. To become a killer proving someone else isn't one is definitely unacceptable.
((OOC: I laughed when I read it. Especially when I just clicked the video randomly.
And that's why Conan will never adhere solely on Knox's rules.))
... reminded me of the CD art with Beato in a rock band.
... Kuhihihihihi. Indeed, I can't let myself be killed by you, either, so it's suitable that you don't have it. After all, we're playing for fun and banter. Not my life. [ Said as if back home is an incredibly different story. Which it is. ]
[ ooc; There's no commandment about the magic of truth and love, it's all good-- ]
Beato would make an awesome lead vocalist for Logic Witches. Complete with cackles.
And that's why it should never be cost anyone their life. It's never fun and games as soon as someone dies. [Shrugs.] Using scenarios of death that have already happened and when I'm trying to prove you are innocent are, of course, different enough to not test what I can allow myself to enjoy more casually. [He does make note on how Battler may be trying to kill her, but will wait for more of the story.]
((OOC: Well, there is about love interests, and that's part of it for him. DC likes breaking Knox's rules a lot.))
Her VA is an amazing singer, so I don't doubt it *A*
Killing a witch and killing a human are two different things, naturally... but you still see me as Beatrice the human, don't you? I don't doubt that you'll never desire to kill me-- against your morals, right detective? --but erasing the illusion of the witch is the same as killing me. On the game board back home, at least.
[ ooc; Umineko probably will too, once we get the conclusive answer arc.
Especially if the horrifying 'Battler is the culprit' theory has merit. ]Is she? *Wonders if there's the cackle in a Beato image song.* That'd be win.
Killing is killing, be it a witch or a human. And yes, I still see you as Beatrice the human. I could never kill a human and I refuse to let one die while I can help them, no matter what they've done. Though a metaphorical death is far more bearable.
((OOC: Well, they even have part of the riddle be about love, so clearly it has to break it.
Make the detective the culprit. Maybe by making Knox obviously broken, that's what they're implying.))Beato's doesn't, sadly-- but... George's does, ironically. *links it below*
Metaphorical, literal, whatever wording you choose, in the world of witches that I fight Battler in, those words mean the same thing. Witches can be torn to shreds by red and blue as much as humans can be maimed to a pulp with a machete or baseball bat... but that's not something you'll accept, so it's all useless to explain.
[ ooc; I'm just expecting Ryukishi to backhand his entire fanbase by the end of the whole series with some seriously WHAT stuff. He's been saying in interviews that there's a really dirty trick to the mysteries that hasn't been unveiled yet. /sobs
And the image song! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP896Z370Oo) ]
Maybe that's a hint that he's the witch?
Not really. Though it does make for an interesting story. A place where words show the damage they can cause.
((OOC: Making the detective the culprit really is a dirty trick. It's one thing DC hasn't done even.))
... well with some theories I wouldn't be surprised!
That's the whole basis behind the red and blue. I'm sure such a thing is possible here, too.
[ ooc; HAHA sob yes. But in EP5 Battler accuses himself in a theory so that just... goes to show how crazy this series is. ]
Might be why they're never the second twilight.
That words cause the actual damage? Doubt it, though they might cause someone to cause damage.
((OOC: That is all sorts of crazy. Maybe it's all one big mental trip for him to deal with killing his family?))
Probably! That's the foothold for the arguments I've seen.
Well, unless someone from my own kakera arrives, there's little chance it'll get demonstrated.
[ ooc; ... oh god if they pull some sort of Fight Club Tyler Durden thing I am going to shed so many tears. ]
George is faking his death~!
Wouldn't it only be if Battler did?
((OOC: It would be so sad! And he'd never get to feel better, poor boy.))
And has inside ties with all the servants--!
No, there are others who can wield blue and red. It's not just our treasured weapons.
[ ooc; S-SOB yeah. Add in the 'Shannon and Kanon are the same person' theory and I might never feel feelings again. ]
He seemed like such a polite young man.
So there are others aware of your game?
((OOC: I'd be sad if they were the same person. I like Kanon caring for his sis. T_T Even if I think someone else could be playing Kanon. The red is a trick with his name!))
He must've gotten lessons from Takano.
-- Indeed. The witch I just mentioned, and Lady Lambdadelta are observers. My servants as well. They're all aware.
[ ooc; Well, that's what I'm hoping for! It's hinted to a lot as well and confirmed that at least someone on the island goes by multiple names. ]
Oh Takano, you and spreading your special brand of crazy.
Is lady Lambdadelta also a 'witch?' And what servants?
((OOC: Exactly. Not to mention Red doesn't specify WHICH of Kanon's names only he can use and they keep making a big deal about his 'real' name.))
George just couldn't resist visiting Hinamizawa for a festival--
Yes, she's the Witch of Absolute. And Ronove, my personal butler. The Seven Sisters of Purgatory. Those are the most important to mention.
[ ooc; Yeah, seriously-- I mean, the fake!Kanon is proof enough there's shenanigans going on with his name as it is. ]
It would explain so very, very much.
Witch of Absolute? So there are different titles?
((OOC: That could even be proof of someone taking his identity regularly. And would disprove the Red if it was taking the name 'Kanon.'))
... also the reason he has a TOMITAKE FLASH shirt.
Correct. I'm the Golden Witch, and Witch of Endless. Bernkastel is the Witch of Miracles. We all have a specialty.
[ ooc; Seriously. ): Kanon's just a big pile of suspicious and red herring all in one, what with his body disappearing so much. ]
...which makes me think he's secretly Tomitake and Takano's child!
Odd things to have a 'magical specialty.'
((OOC: Poor Kanon. It's all that furniture talk. It makes you easy to manipulate.))
... OH GOD HE EVEN LOOKS LIKE TOMITAKE.
You specialize in detective work, don't you? Witches can have their own areas of expertise that set them apart.
[ ooc; ;A; yes. Stupid BUT I AM FURNITURE mindset. Look in a mirror Kanon you are not a chair-- ]
HE DOES! ...though i'm not sure about timeline wise if that'd work.
Well, there's some specialization, but a good detective has a bit of everything so they don't miss things other detectives would pick up right away in that field.
((OOC: Though it does bring up the question if he goes in the person count...))
Perhaps a time machine is involved.
Well, who's to say I don't have a little bit of everything too?
[ ooc; They do, as far as I know--! ]
Well, if there's a time traveling god....
... I wouldn't put it past Ryukishi.
...neither would I.
