2 ♔ pranks exist, prove me wrong

[ Hey, see that on the ground? It's two tickets to that thing you love-- no, wait. It is that thing you love. Or that precious thing you thought went missing a month ago. Or something really valuable that you like or want, like money, or if you're a sensible islander, like soap. Let's just say it's something your character may really want.

WHATEVER IT IS, it moves slightly out of reach when you go to grab it.

And again.

And again.

What do you do? ]

Maybe that's a hint that he's the witch?

But don't you have a 'thousand years of experience' over him? [Such a smug smirk there.]

Not really. Though it does make for an interesting story. A place where words show the damage they can cause.

((OOC: Making the detective the culprit really is a dirty trick. It's one thing DC hasn't done even.))

Might be why they're never the second twilight.

[Laughs.] Ah, I suppose that's true. If he's giving you a challenge though, he must have some talent if he's an amateur.

That words cause the actual damage? Doubt it, though they might cause someone to cause damage.

((OOC: That is all sorts of crazy. Maybe it's all one big mental trip for him to deal with killing his family?))

George is faking his death~!

Heh, he has the makings of a noir detective then.

Wouldn't it only be if Battler did?

((OOC: It would be so sad! And he'd never get to feel better, poor boy.))

He seemed like such a polite young man.

[identity profile] 17-going-on-8.livejournal.com 2010-04-09 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
But that's usually how they are. They seem to blunder through the deductions until a personal stake makes them show just how brilliant they can be through pure force of will.

So there are others aware of your game?

((OOC: I'd be sad if they were the same person. I like Kanon caring for his sis. T_T Even if I think someone else could be playing Kanon. The red is a trick with his name!))

Oh Takano, you and spreading your special brand of crazy.

[identity profile] 17-going-on-8.livejournal.com 2010-04-09 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Though he is missing the 'brooding' nature, but it's rare real people fit into the formula.

Is lady Lambdadelta also a 'witch?' And what servants?

((OOC: Exactly. Not to mention Red doesn't specify WHICH of Kanon's names only he can use and they keep making a big deal about his 'real' name.))

It would explain so very, very much.

[identity profile] 17-going-on-8.livejournal.com 2010-04-09 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
...a dramatic person, isn't he?

Witch of Absolute? So there are different titles?

((OOC: That could even be proof of someone taking his identity regularly. And would disprove the Red if it was taking the name 'Kanon.'))

...which makes me think he's secretly Tomitake and Takano's child!

[identity profile] 17-going-on-8.livejournal.com 2010-04-09 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
So you really do like the hot blooded type?

Odd things to have a 'magical specialty.'

((OOC: Poor Kanon. It's all that furniture talk. It makes you easy to manipulate.))

HE DOES! ...though i'm not sure about timeline wise if that'd work.

[identity profile] 17-going-on-8.livejournal.com 2010-04-09 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, I guess that's true. He does seem to make the cases a bit more fun when he's not trying to compete.

Well, there's some specialization, but a good detective has a bit of everything so they don't miss things other detectives would pick up right away in that field.

((OOC: Though it does bring up the question if he goes in the person count...))

Well, if there's a time traveling god....

[identity profile] 17-going-on-8.livejournal.com 2010-04-09 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Piece Battler and the one you're playing are different people?

Do you?

((OOC: Well, she'll sometimes say they aren't people and sometimes say they will. It's all so confusing...))

...neither would I.

[identity profile] 17-going-on-8.livejournal.com 2010-04-10 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm...I probably will. It sounds like a big of a confusing concept.

Only going to give a vague answer? [Quirks an eyebrow.]

((OOC: Definitely people for Battler. Might not be for Beatrice's 18 people count though if Red can be subjective.))

[identity profile] 17-going-on-8.livejournal.com 2010-04-10 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
I'll have to see it so I know what's going on before I could do something like that.

Even saying the type is dangerous then?

((OOC: Well, we never did a confirmation in Red of number of people after she did that.))

[identity profile] 17-going-on-8.livejournal.com 2010-04-10 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
I guess I'll have to be patient again.

And yet you do anyway.

((OOC: Even dirtier than crazy parasites?))

[identity profile] 17-going-on-8.livejournal.com 2010-04-10 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose that would depend on what I'd have to lose.

[Chuckles.] Ah, is that how it's different?

((OOC: Very unfair. How could we figure that out?))
