2 ♔ pranks exist, prove me wrong
[ Hey, see that on the ground? It's two tickets to that thing you love-- no, wait. It is that thing you love. Or that precious thing you thought went missing a month ago. Or something really valuable that you like or want, like money, or if you're a sensible islander, like soap. Let's just say it's something your character may really want.
WHATEVER IT IS, it moves slightly out of reach when you go to grab it.
And again.
And again.
What do you do? ]

It's just magic. You can't do something so mundane as assign it a type!
[ ooc; In any case it would be a horribly, horribly dirty trick. ]
no subject
And yet you do anyway.
((OOC: Even dirtier than crazy parasites?))
no subject
-- Hoh! Endless magic is different. Assigning names and types to all the lesser magics is trivial and boring.
[ ooc; ... maybe on the same level of dirty, that was a bad trick too. ]
no subject
[Chuckles.] Ah, is that how it's different?
((OOC: Very unfair. How could we figure that out?))
no subject
Naturally, there are all kinds. But listing them off is tiresome and it's less their title and more describing what they do.
[ ooc; Not sure! Just... wait and see if it's addressed? Otherwise just assume they're still included in the number... /sob ]
no subject
I see. Then...can you say what exactly it is that makes Endless magic unique?
((OOC: I suppose so. A lot needs to be addressed.))

It's the power of infinity. To endlessly repeat, to kill and revive, like an endless cycle. To restore things to creation from destruction. It's quite formidable.
[ ooc; Ryukishi's got a loooot of explaining to do if he wants to wrap everything up in the last two games. ]
no subject
So while everything else has a limit, endless does not?
((OOC: That he does. Hopefully it makes sense.))
no subject
It's all in the description of the magic. For example, Lambdadelta's power lies in the finite-- an absolute sure kill with no grounds for failure. Bernkastel's are miracles-- she can make anything happen as long as the probability of it happening isn't zero.
[ ooc; Hopefully! Since... it's not making much sense right now. ]
no subject
[Nods.] I suppose then it all makes sense.
((OOC: I wonder if meta world is in the equation's answer?))
no subject
It's not so hard to understand. You just make it hard on yourself to accept.
[ ooc; ...That'd be an interesting twist! The characters in the meta-world do have some control over their pieces on the game board, so there's definitely a link, but I don't know if it has any ties to the actual murders. ]

Just because I understand the titles doesn't mean I believe in the magic. Just wanted to be sure what they met.
((OOC: There has to be some rason for it, considering how involved it got with Erika.))
no subject
Of course! I never assumed you'd believe me with a simple explanation like that.
[ ooc; Oh yeah, definitely, since Erika is just an extension/creation of Bern. And doesn't exist anymore as of EP6. ]
no subject
Just being sure.
((OOC: Which just makes it more confusing. =/))

[ ooc; Summer Comiket cannot come fast enough with the new game. TAT ]
no subject
((OOC: Come faster, Ep7!))
no subject
[ ooc; Yessssss TAT I can't live on crazy theories forever. ]
