Another day at the beach

We were able to construct a windbreak before the storm, so my entire camp is intact. Thanks to the wind direction, we also have a beach full of drying wood and other kindling. Fortuitous indeed. I've also done some moderate calesthenics today, swing practices, and fashioned a nail file to keep my nails in shape. All-in-all, I'm glad to be doing something productive.

However, there is the matter of boredom... Survival isn't an 18-hour task when you plan ahead.

Though the storm had made a mess of our shelter, I know we can rebuild it. I only feel a little sad that most of the fruit washed away, but it is not as big of a loss as it could have been.

I have made myself a magnificent shelter from some boulders and trees! Truly, it's a tribute to my form! Not even a storm could stop me from completing this masterpiece! Colonel! Young Elric! If you wish you are welcome to join me! I have made it ample in size, two well sized rooms even! It is on the western side of the island, a short ways into the forest~! Looking out onto the island to the west! There is even a completely safe hotspring nearby! I know it is safe because I threw a monkey in it! And he came out a monkey! Although I thought it might just turn things into monkeys so I threw in a dingo as well! He came out a dingo! Ho ho! My tactic to test the spring was quite clever! I even have a meal for tonight because the dingo was not exactly happy with me! The monkey ran off though!

Just look for the large statues of myself pointing you in the direction from the beach if you wish to visit me! You'll know you're there when you see the fabulous statue of myself proudly standing in front of the place! *Sparkles!*

Ran Fan found me again. She's getting good at it. Perhaps I should find a place for us to stay, so it won't be as difficult next time. But what would the fun in that be?

I caught some fish! It's not so hard when the fish don't expect you to be swimming right up to them and catching them in your mouth. I have them outwitted.

Apparently not all of the animals on this island are what they seem, or the people, for that matter. Even Ed fell prey to an evil hot spring. u__u So I'm trying to avoid where ever that palce is.
