Let's see now... the sixteen years I was alive excluded, I've been Black Blood for seven hundred and eighty-five years, and Old Blood for seven hundred and one. That puts my ETD somewhere around 1206 approximately--assuming that it wasn't near the end of 1205 or something.

Hah, I can't even remember the last time I thought about all this~ It must have been decades since I last counted up the years. Funny how I remember the day I was born more than the day I died. Oh well.

No, it didn't have that weird face.

The ultimate being of the moon, Crimson Moon wanted the Earth for himself you see? That's why True Ancestors were created, to be the rulers over humans. But a really powerful magic user stopped him before the moon would overwhelm the planet.

Mm. You think so? It's hard to say if that ever really happened at all since I wasn't there.

A man named Zeltrech. I've met him before when I was very young. A child.

Of course. I was a vampire then and I am now. But my body wasn't mature then. I needed to sleep a number of years in the castle before they gave me my job.

I've been able to experience a lot of things here ever since I was taken. But dreaming is one thing I can never grasp. True Ancestors don't seem to have that ability.
