Like when Hattori-niichan is giving a deduction, he acts a lot more serious than he usually does. A lot of detectives seem to do it. No matter how they act normally, when they give a deduction, they act like a different person.

Eyes can have a lot of tells and if your head is tilted down, it hides the rest. You don't have to keep your face as straight if no one can see it clearly, right?
