That depends on what kind of demon we are talking about. There are basic creatures that are like insects and there are higher ones like me, who resemble humans.

Again, I think that'd depend on the individual characters. Viede or I would probably be a lot more calmer than, say, my dear brother Chrono or Gennai.

It's instinct that inclines us to be less nice, but it's free will to decide when and if we want to give in to it or not.
