[And somewhere in the jungle, there is a wandering detective in a drab tan suit, currently following something that might be a path, and might be a game trail, but should at least go somewhere sooner or later. His current mission: See if there's signs of other human life!
He may have been wandering off the beaten path for a while now.]

I do not know of many others around who wield a sword as well. For now, I just train on my own.

No, I am not. It is a place far from here-- the Netherworld, to be more precise.

...That would explain some things. You'll have to forgive me, I've managed to dodge dealing with the supernatural very much in the past, so I wouldn't know much of anything about the Netherworld or, [vague hand gestures - you know, ghosts, strange glowing white auras...]
