It's a very vicious circle once you get into one. It's best not to try and think about it too hard. All you can possibly get is a headache.

That's something that everyone has to find out for themself. Sometimes knowing the truth can do great damage. On other occasions it can be a saving grace. [giving you a bemused look] Are you sure that you want to talk with a demon about something like this?

Oh, I don't know. Most people back where I come from would probably call me a bad person, though I don't think that I'm one. Being a demon is just part of it. I could a really bad guy who pretends to be good in order to get what he wants.

Humans do good when they decide to fear us. It's rare that a demon goes out of his or her way to harm a human, but it's usually not pretty when they it happens.

That's because you asked me a difficult question. We're about as 'good' or 'evil' as humanity is. Some of us are better while others are worse. But nobody is exclusively good or bad.
