2 ♔ pranks exist, prove me wrong

[ Hey, see that on the ground? It's two tickets to that thing you love-- no, wait. It is that thing you love. Or that precious thing you thought went missing a month ago. Or something really valuable that you like or want, like money, or if you're a sensible islander, like soap. Let's just say it's something your character may really want.

WHATEVER IT IS, it moves slightly out of reach when you go to grab it.

And again.

And again.

What do you do? ]

[Inspects. Quite closely, at that.] So for next time, I'll have to say how it's possible for a human to do this to get two pieces, right? [Still focused on the rose, looking at all the little details.

((OOC: Woo! And then he'll just duct tape his mouth shut until the weekends over afterwards.))

Then I'll make sure to keep the pace consistent. [Quite confident, yes.]

((OOC: They can share duct tape~!

Wonder how long it'll take before half the island has tape on their mouths?))

Of course. It wouldn't be a fun game otherwise.

((OOC: If only there was a tree for that.))

It's definitely the ones I've had the most practice in.

((OOC: ....I vote duct tape bush.=D))

Wonder what?

((OOC: Yush~! They shall discover the legendary....DUCT TAPE BUSH OF THE TWILIGHT!))

[Raises an eyebrow and he looks curious. Very curious. Ponders asking anyway, but...well, Beatrice did seem the type who would reveal what she said she's reveal. She'd proven that already.]

...all right. Then I'll wait. You do certainly know how to make someone curious though.

Heh. There's another being that could do such a thing. A writer, of both fantasy and mystery, could do the same thing if they want.

Sometimes it's enjoyment. Sometimes it's just to convince people to think of something or think of a certain way.

A story to convince people to believe in witches, it could be quite popular with enough skill.

In which case, you wouldn't have to need to write for entertainment, but to cause that sort of affect.

I have an uncle whose a famous writer.

More of a metaphor than a theory. [Shrugs.] But I'll know you'll keep trying to prove yourself. That is the game.

He writes mysteries, but some can be over the top.

It probably will be. I don't like giving out the full deduction until I have the full story, after all.

That's part of it. Some is just so over the top, no one notices the small stuff. And sometimes the small stuff is what makes it over the top.

Or something at the end provides the piece that can put all the pieces together.
